Toyota Harrier light paint correction

This came in for a detail yesterday. As with all SUVs and MPVs, there is a time constraint. Therefore very little pictures were taken. Some before shots were available but after shots were not taken as I need to beat the clock.

Paint inspection revealed that this paint is quite beaten up. Some long random deep scratch.

Swirls all over.

Marks left by dog

The heavily damaged parts were given a full 3 step paint correction while less severe parts were given a single step polish. The steps were Meguiars M105 on wool, M105 on polishing pad, finished by M205 on polishing pad all via rotary. Paint was quite soft.

Here are some before-after shots after the light correction process. Because of time constraint, the correction on the dog marks were not documented.

50/50 shot on driver's door

A not so accurate 50/50 sun shot on bonnet. Some fine swirls still visible which were removed on the following step.

Thank you...
